newsletter October 2025

The TimmonsArt Newsletter (October 2025)

It's gotten cool here, and I love it. The only bad part is the absence of butterflies and hummingbirds.

Progress on my solo show
I just finished a large canvas for the show. I thought most of the pieces would be smaller than I usually work, but some of the images I've created just need a larger surface. This is Masked: No. 29.

I will have a variety of sizes in the show, the smallest being 12x12", and the largest at 30x30".

Art Comes Alive (ADC Fine Art, Cincinnati)
I haven't entered this show in several years, but I'm happy to report that my painting, Elizabeth, was accepted into this year's exhibit.

A sale!
My entry in KORE Gallery's 'New Interpretations' show, Homage to Magritte No. 5, sold before the opening. That's always a boost, lemme tell ya'.

Santa Fe residency
After consulting my husband and the fur babies, I have stretched next year's residency to two weeks. So now I'll have time to paint. I had to move the residency to November, but totally worth it.

Money-maker for the Kentucky Resources Council

I'm pleased to announce a new project benefitting the Kentucky Resources Council (kyrc.org - have a look at its beautiful new website), a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to the protection of Kentucky's land, air, water, and communities. This is a set of 10 note cards (2 each of 5 designs) featuring my photographs of butterflies and a hummingbird, all taken in my yard. Details and ordering are available

I'm late getting newsletter out this month, so I'll just barely get my "Happy Halloween" out there in time.

Thanks for reading!
