The TimmonsArt Newsletter (January 2026)
Oh, my. Sitting here waiting on Winter Storm Fern. (Is that what my husband said it's called?) The wildlife must know something is afoot - they've been super industrious the past couple of days, at the bird feeders and scouring the ground for missed acorns and walnuts. Fingers crossed the power stays on. Since we're still awaiting the big snow, here's a backyard image from several years ago . . .
Progress on my solo show
I've completed 11 paintings for Masked, coming up in August. Here are the most recent ones:
The Elizabeth Series

I decided to do a series of variations on the Elizabeth painting (now Elizabeth I) that sold in Cincinnati in November . . .
and here's the second of the series . . .
I've composed at least 12 of these images. Some are very colorful and intricate, and some are quite minimal and neutral. All are in a square format, and right now my plan is to make them all the same size. Elizabeth, by the way, was my maternal grandmother's name. She would have had no idea what in the world I am doing but would still have said they're the most beautiful paintings she's ever seen. Grandmothers are the best.
Art Fairs
I'll be participating in three art fairs this year. I was invited to do so by ADC Fine Art in Cincinnati. The first is in February. ADC's spaces at fairs are always beautifully curated and eye-catching.
