Just completed . . . the latest in my Masked series: Masked: 44 oil on canvas, 30x30" This face feels both constructed and deeply human. The fragmented planes create a sense of tension and mystery, but the eyes and lips pull the viewer back in, insisting on presence. For me, that balance between concealment and clarity is where the real power of the piece lives. My solo show, Masked: What a Woman Holds, opens August 1 at KORE Gallery.
