As Summer Winds Down
Thank goodness for a recent cool-down. Everything seems to be sighing with relief, including the butterflies. I was alarmed when summer began because we weren't seeing our usual numbers of my glorious winged critters, but it seems they were saving their best for last. Always, always happy to see the Monarchs, and to feed them, as this is the generation that will be heading south.

If I go with rocks and minerals, I need to get started on printing and framing so I can spread the cost over the next eleven months. I want to have some of the images printed on aluminum. And speaking of rocks and minerals . . .

New Interpretations Show
My Louisville gallery's group show this year is 'New Interpretations.' Entrants were asked to provide a new interpretation of a seminal work by a famous artist, and my riffs on Magritte's The Son of Man fit right in. This one will hang in the show.
