I have no new nature pictures to share with you. This spring has been cool and wet and not much fun for getting out with my camera. There are a number of pregnant does around, so there will be fawns in the next few weeks. And the milkweed is blooming like crazy, so bees and butterflies are bound to follow. It has been great to sit on the deck and use the Merlin Bird ID app to find out how many species are passing through on their annual migrations. (If you don't have the app, it's free and so much fun.)
Work for solo show
I'm done! With two months to spare. I finally stopped painting long enough to count the paintings, and I have over 20, so I think that's plenty. Here are the last several . . .

Radiance at ADC Fine Art, Cincinnati
I think I showed you the painting I did for the summer show, called Radiance, in Cincinnati. I got word a couple of days ago that it got in, so I'll be hauling it up there soon. Here she is:

New digital work
Predictably, when I reach the end of a series like Masked, I get the urge to work on something more immediate. Given the subject matter of my most recent paintings, I've become re-infatuated with a red lip, and that prompted the creation of a Red Lip world of mid-century businesses. I also love neon, as you can see. These are the first few retro Fig Newtons of my imagination . . .

You'd probably have to wear sunglasses at night in my little town. And I hope there's a major power generator nearby.
And I've given some of my Renaissance ladies a Surrealist Pop twist . . .
I promise there were no recreational pharmaceuticals involved. When the world starts blooming, I get color fever.
