recently finished

Here's another expressionist piece I just finished:

Blue Streak, acrylic on canvas, 36x36"

This is another piece painted on top of an existing painting. I left some of the elements of the first painting in this one. And here's what it looks like on a wall:

I love these bold black-and-white statement works. They look simple, but finding the right balance isn't that easy. It's immediately obvious sometimes, but not always.
